Wreck Effects Auto Body is comprised of technicians that are experts in their field and take pride in putting forth a safe and quality repair. Wreck Effects achieves this by rebuilding vehicles as dictated by the vehicle manufacturers. Because Wreck Effects restores vehicles to their original equipment manufacturers (OEM) fit, appearance, and structural integrity, we provide a limited warranty that will last the duration of your ownership of your vehicle on any workmanship that we provided.
Auto body repair involves many different components to restore the vehicle back to pre-loss condition. First, we must assess which is the best and safest repair method to use on the vehicle. Some of these repair methods are: straightening of sheet metal and structural components, repairing/sectioning a frame, replacing parts versus repairing or straightening, etc. Our technicians have extensive knowledge and training to repair even the most complex collision repairs.
In many accidents, the collision energy can travel past the immediately visible damage, causing damage to a mechanical component or the frame. Our technicians are trained to use our computerized measuring and diagnostic systems to pinpoint the areas of damage and weakness. After a thorough inspection, we determine if a repair is safe to perform or if the damage to these components requires replacement. Only OEM parts will be used in the repairs of all frame repairs and mechanical repairs.
Wreck Effects is able to expertly match any vehicle’s color using our computerized refinishing system. We start with the manufacturer paint code, then use our spectrophotometer to tint the paint to your vehicle’s specific color (including faded and/or aged colors). After many stages in our state-of-the-art paint booth, the vehicle’s finish has been restored to a brand new finish and shine.
Paintless dent repair (PDR) is most commonly used to repair hail damaged vehicles. PDR is a practical option to repair small to medium sized dents without damaging the factory finish. For a dent to be a good candidate for PDR, the dent must not be sharp, not have cracked paint, and must be in a good location for access behind the panel. Our PDR technicians use multiple specialized metal rods and mallets to push dents out. Once the PDR is complete, the vehicle is restored to being dent free.
